Unfortunately, it has been my experience that the older generation Zoroastrians are bound by monastic ideals. In order to support the continuum of the belief and the people, other Persians of Muslim background have been cast aside and labeled "impure". Saddly, this hard line way of thinking underminds the whole structure of belonging to a religion of such high calibre as (Z). This is simply a cause and effect issue where the effect has detrimental consequences where the younger generation suffer.
To the older generation: Selfishness is not a Virtue. Confining your youth to your mentality is a diservice to yourself, family community and religion.
