I am intrested more in zarathushtra because I have heard the name before. My main concern is what it has to do in direct correlation to Jesus of Nazareth and Magi who located his birth . . . I am doing some personal research in accordance to the Adrian Gilbert book "In Search of The Magi" and a program aired on the History channel titled, "Finding Christmas" run on Dec 24-25 on the same subject. If this sounds familiar to you please inform me further thank you. Sincerely, Dra'gon A Williams-O'Payne

I think very highly of your website. I am not Iranian nor Zoroastrian but I am deeply infatuated with the Zoroastrian (Magian) faith. I traveled to Iran in July 2002 and visited the Fire Temple of Yazd and the Sacred Spring of Chek-Chek. I wrote a novelette based upon two Persian legends, the legend of Scheherazade of the Thousand and One Nights (who lived in Iran during the Sassanian dynasty, centuries before the time of Mohammed) and the legend of the last Zoroastrian princess of Yazd. The novelette is titled "The Return of Scheherazade". It has been translated into Persian and is to be found in English and Persian on my website, www.beckoningstar.com . I invite you to visit my website and read the story. In the fire temple of Yazd, I witnessed many Moslem-background Iranians asking religious questions of the Magi. I get the impression that a grass-roots revival of Zoroastrianism is underway within Iran among Iranians disillusioned with Islam.

Many people of Iranian origin have expressed their adimration and willingness towards Mazdayasna and Zoroastrian tradition. Some have expressed their regrets for Iran, who has lost such a wonderful tradition, religion and school of thought. However, they should know that Mazdayasna is present in every day life of millions of Iranians. Although many are not aware of this fact. Those who know what we had and love it, have to take the lead to let others know and bring Mazdayasna into thier homes and live as a proud Iranian Mazdayasni Zartoshti with their beloved members of family. The Good Religion of Ahura Mazda is for the whole humanity, and people of Iranian heritage have strong connection with it. As such, accepting and adoting it and living by it is a matter of their decision and determination. May it be so

Whoever came up with the idea of a cyber temple is a genius. People like me, who are the only zoros in a 1000 mile radius, have atleast a cyber temple, if not a real one, to go and worship ( or see and admire).May our religion survive another 1000 years. Laterz.

Please, I Am Interested In Zarathushtra For A Few Reasons. 1)Many Say He Is 1st To Teach There Is Only One True God. What Of Moses Though Or Even Further Back Noah, Abraham? Would They Not Be Before Zarathushtra? 2The Magi Visited Yeshua The Messiah After His Birth. Bringing Gold, Frankincense, And Myrrh. I Wondered What These Gifts Symbolized To The Magi Themselves (Not To Christians). 3)Since Magi Visited Yeshua And Paid Obeisance To Him…..I Wondered Why Yeshua Was Not Considered A Prophet Along With Zarathushtra? 4)I Am Interested Also Because I Read The Followers Of Zarathushtra Healed The Sick And Were Open To Teaching Everyone. They Sounded Like The Disciples Of Yeshua And I Wondered If They Did Not Serve The Same God? Why Else Would Magi Come? Any Information You Could Send Me Would Be Welcome. My E-Mail Is FractalRain@yahoo.com Thank-You For This Wonderful And Informative Site. Remember Abraham Was From Ur And Paradise Is A Persian Word! =-)

HI! IT WAS AGREAT SITE BUT I WOULD LIKE TO ADD SOMETHING THAT religion,to the religioius spirit,is not in the holy scriptures but in the holiness of existence. It is not prayer taught by the priests of all kinds of religions. It is in the gratitude that one feels before a sunrise;it is in the gratitude that one feels to be a part of this beautiful and tremendously miraculous existence

Interesting philosophies and views. I actually stumbled across this site trying to figure what "Also sprach Zarathustra" meant in accordance to Richard Strauss' famous work, and found out that it meant "Thus spoke Zarathustra", so I did a google on the name and found this site. One thing I should point out, though. I am somewhat of a historical scholar, and along with most other scholars, do believe that it was in fact the Israelites who first put forth the philosophy of a monotheistic religion, at least 1800 BC (by the way, if you're going to use a different naming system to avoid the Christian A.D. term of in the year of our Lord, you need to come up with a different calendar, not based on it's founder's supposed birthday). Anyway, those are my thoughts on your site.

Thank you for all of the information, translations, and insights into the worship of Ahura Mazda. I am a spiritual seeker who was raised in the Christian religion, but I honor and respect wisdom from many sources. I will continue to visit and study your website, but wished to tell you how amazed I was on this, my first visit, to your page. All honor, respect, and gratitude to the Creator of the Universe.
