I am a linguist and I am doing a research of Old Persian in the family of Indo-Euorpean family of languages. I have recently broken some of the linguistic codes of the mother language from which English and Farsi, as well as a whole bunch of other languages, are derived. You would be interested to know that the three tenets of Zartosht; Pendar Nik , Goftar Nik and Kerdar Nik are the sister words of the followings in English; Ponder Unique, Chapter Unique and Order Unique. Some these words in English may mean differently tody but about 10,000 years ago they meant exactly what it means in Farsi. This site is interesting but should take into account children growing up in a culture that is now a potpourri of religions, beliefs, and histories. Above all, in this day and age, advocating against inter-caste and inter-religious values that blend the best of two or more different worlds, only will promote further racial slur, closemindedness, and intolerance, thereby defeating the inherent values of Zoroastrianism or any other religion.

It was very encouraging to visit your site. I will pass it on more Zoroastrians. I once read a book by an American who compares all the major faiths in the world and traces their origin and inspiration to Zarathushtra. CONGRATULATIONS! I think the structure, format and content of your site is excellent. It is simple and straightforward in its approach and explanations. In the main, it whets my interest to find out and know more about my religion than the confusion promoted by other sites and writers. In a simple commonsense way I have come to my own deductions and beliefs, and feel very relieved and confident about the Good Religion to have this validated in the articles of learned scholars of the religion. I have not read ALL that is on the the site, but I have for a while been an admirer of Dr.Irani's, Dina McIntyre's and Dr.Ali Jafrey's writings. Very informative web. I was amazed to read that contribution to the information on Prophet Zarthustra was not only by learned leaders from the community but from various enlightened persons too.I would like to know by what name is the ancient bird PESHOPARAN which is in BEHRAM YAZAD called in modern times. I have understood that by keeping the feather of this bird help one in difficult times and to defeat or say victory over evil. This information I got from the summary at the end of the prayer. The work PESHOPARAN is as used in the prayer too.

I am very much into learning about other religions. Out of all the religions that I studied about, I found that the Zorostrian faith was my favorite religion to study about.
