There are two different types of humans and these two types are reactionary in nature. Each of these two types are further subdivided into two individual views of self.

These are: A) Intelligent and worldly, ambitious and ruthless 1) Unique and hold separate 2) Homogenize and blend

B) Close knit clans/groups, ambitious and ruthless 1) Constrict and or repress 2) Conquer or exterminate

The US is by far a type “A”. Europe is included in this group. That third world or developing countries have been forced to deal with Type “A”s must also deal with the side effects and their reactions ( evidenced throughout the world ) are the results of the interaction with those side effects.

This is the struggle of the two worlds we occupy. Who will win? Neither because it is paramount to the existence of each the other also exists.

This is history and the future, both together, overpowering the present. We can only try to change ourselves and learn to respect the beliefs of others while leaving them to their own existence.

I have a question for anyone who might know the answer: Historically, when Zarathustra rejected the daevas as false gods, and brought in Monotheism, why did he also reject the use of Soma, previously a drug used in rituals, and practices of the Aaryan religion?

An excellent web page that has answered many questions I've had about Zarathushtrism. I would like to know if there are any groups in the U.S. Bay Area, that meet and discuss Zarathushtrian ideas? I'm a great admirer of Saddi and Hafiz and I wonder were these two poets consider Zarathushtrians? There works seem to have many of the Zarathushtrian ideas. My first knowledge about Zarathushtra was through Richard Strauss' music and Nietzsche. But as you've pointed out in some of your essays these people had no idea what or who Zarathustra was, and they have got his message all wrong! Can you provide any more information about their mis-education. What is Mani's relationship to Zarathushtrism and what happened to his ideals when Zarathushrism became a state religion in Persia? Thank you in advance.

Thank you very much for designing this web page. I am from India and have been living in the gulf for 6 1/2 years now. In these years I have always longed to go to the fire temple but unfortunately we are not a recognized clan here and do not have a fire temple. Through this site I can always do the required worship on the net to satisfy my soul a little. Keep up the good work. Long live the Zorashtrian clan - Usta te.

I was fortunate to have the blessed proffessor, K.D.Irani, as my teacher at both the graduate and undergraduate level in the late 60's. His words which clearly reflected his thoughts and beliefs have had a profound influence on my life, and in enabling me to think critically, but not as the eveyday thinker would. His teachings have shaped my way of thinking greatly, which I pass on to others ..my students, my children, or anyone I meet in the course of just living. Many people laugh when I say i was (and always will be) a student of philosophy..but these are persons who think and feel on a very concrete level and value the dollar more than the mind. Because of Prof.Irani, my life has been changed forever, in a very positive way. thus, anyone I meet and am able to connect with who is open-minded and receptive..I will be able to share what I have learned. The beauty of life lies within the mind, and to be able to share that is somethng very special.
